Dr. Sheldon Dyer, an active member of the Jamaican Diaspora, successfully completed his Doctorate degree in Business Administration in 2013, adding to his Masters of Business Administration with an Emphasis in Finance. With over 15 years of business leadership experience, Dr. Dyer possesses a vast knowledge of financial and operational practices that have guided his successful career.

In addition to his educational achievements, Dr. Dyer holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is an Authorized Trainer in General Industries for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in the United States.

His professional sales and management experience strengthens his business partnerships with organizations within various industries such as healthcare and hospitality, environmental services, information security, medical and hazardous waste compliance, transportation, and other commercial establishments.

Dr. Dyer currently sits in a leadership role, within a fortune 500 company which is a leader in Corporate Social Responsibility through its environmental sustainable and recycling solutions, brand protection, patient and customer solutions, waste management and compliance solutions, and secure information destruction.

Melanie V. Wynter, MSc., CBDE

Deputy Chairwoman

Melanie Wynter, MSc.,CBDE has 18 years of business and people management experience and has sourced, structured, managed, and/or invested in over 11 lower middle market transactions.  She started her career as a Ship Navigator in the Irving Oil group in Canada focused on transporting fuel throughout the North Atlantic.

In 2014, she co-founded and became Head of Business Development of what is now Elizabeth Sloane & Company Limited,  a business management consulting firm in Kingston, Jamaica. In 2017, she co-founded Jamaica Rural Youth Foundation a registered charitable organization, providing positive opportunities to Rural Youth of Jamaica, through it's career and professional Accelerator Program, named iSAN, it's breakfast program named breakfast Club and it's a mentoring program called protégé. She is also the founding Partner of the Jamaica Youth Foundation, a registered 501 (c)3. In 2018, Melanie became Managing Director of Elizabeth Sloane.

She is a holder of an Officer of the Watch ship navigation license, a certified business development expert, holds an Advanced Sales Management Certificate and Licentiate Degree in Marine Navigation Technology, from Nova Scotia Nautical Institute and a Masters in Business Intelligence and Big Data.

Melanie has served as head, director and/or observer for over 11+ companies with revenues of between $ 10 million and $ 1 billion annually. She has presented at Ted talk, Google Startup Grind in Africa and Caribbean Developers Conference in the Dominican Republic.
